Help Me Stop has broken through the price barrier for specialist addiction help with an affordable, effective, non-residential, addiction treatment programme. Our treatment model is proven to be as effective, or even more effective, than residential rehab, at a fraction of the cost. We can also arrange your alcohol detox or drug detox, should you require a detox to stop safely before starting our rehab programme.
Treatment for alcohol and drug addiction can be expensive. Private programmes – especially London residential ones – can cost up to £25,000, putting treatment out of reach for most people. At Help Me Stop, our intensive treatment programmes (6 weeks rehab + aftercare) start at £2,400 (inc VAT) for our Online Rehab, opening up treatment to many thousands more people.

How Much Does our Rehab Cost?
Help Me Stop is Rehab in the Real World – effective programmes that are realistically priced, accessible and intensive. Our 4-week face-to-face treatment programme in London (central) is £3,600, or £2,400 for our 6-week online treatment programme. This means that recovery is now within reach of many more people who need it.
Our Detox and Rehab packages– if you need an alcohol detox or drug detox before starting your rehab programme, Help Me Stop also provide detox and rehab packages, subject to clinical assessment. A home detox and our 6-week Online Rehab is £4,150. A home detox and our 4-week face-to-face rehab in London is £5,350.

Most residential programmes insist that people join for 28 days or more, which makes it difficult for those who still need to work, study or look after children. With our non-residential rehab programmes, clients can continue to work, study or care for family while in treatment. And with our online programme, our clients don’t even have to come into our centre for rehab in London, or even be in the same country. Also, because our programmes are available in the mornings, afternoons and evenings, our intensive treatment programme can fit into your daily life. We also provide detox and rehab programmes, working with CQC-registered doctors and trusted detox partners, so if you need an alcohol detox or drug detox before your rehab programme, Help Me Stop can provide an affordable package of care.
Occasionally, it’s possible to get local authority funded access to residential treatment but it’s often a very long and difficult process. Funded places are limited and oversubscribed, so waiting lists are long. Statutory funding for addiction treatment tends to be allocated to people with multiple and complex needs, including poly-drug users, people with a dual diagnosis of mental illness, a history of offending or homelessness. This means that while waiting for a place, many people find that their condition deteriorates, their motivation disappears or the health consequences of addiction become life-threatening.

According to the 2005-2008 National Surveys on Drug Use and Health, there are five common reasons why people who felt they needed treatment for addiction made no effort to obtain it:
Help Me Stop puts an end to some of these barriers, making intensive treatment affordable, accessible and effective. Our most asked question is ‘how much does rehab cost?’ and we are proud to offer a service that works and is cost-effective for many thousands more people than ever before. Our 4-week face-to-face Dayhab programme costs less than the average two-week holiday for two in Spain. And our 6-week online programme is even more affordable.
With programmes available in the mornings, afternoons and evenings, it makes it really achievable to get high quality addiction treatment around work and home life. And with an online treatment programme, you don’t even need to come into one of our centres or be in the UK.
Tried and tested in the US, where Dayhab is now the preferred route for most people, success rates are as high or higher than those of residential rehab. Help Me Stop achieved an 85% treatment completion rate in 2020-21, which is higher than the national average of 50% in the same time period.

Additional Rehab Costs
When adding up the cost of treatment, you will need to factor in the following additional costs:
Travel & Lunch:
You’ll need to pay for your own travel to and from our rehab centre and provide your own food. We do provide tea, coffee and biscuits and there are kitchen facilities you can use. There are also various supermarkets, sandwich shops, cafes and restaurants nearby, catering for all dietary needs.
Books:
We provide all the literature and materials you need to complete the programme, but in addition, we strongly advise you purchase your own copy of the key texts referred to in the programme. These cost less than £10. We also provide links to free versions online.
If you have a problem with alcohol or drugs, or know someone who does, please get in touch for free, confidential advice.
We have a rehab centre based in London, our Winchester Rehab in Hampshire, and we offer Online Rehab services too, so we will be able to offer you a tailored programme that works for you.
