Getting help with drug and alcohol addiction is a big step, and we are here for you throughout the process.
We offer non-residential, alcohol and drug rehab programmes online and in person, to best support you to stop drinking or taking drugs, and to establish your recovery.
What is non residential rehab?
Non residential rehab is a more affordable and accessible way of getting the treatment you need to succeed in your recovery. Non-residential rehab is where you do not stay at the facility, instead you travel in for your sessions. This means that you can integrate your recovery within your life, getting professional support to manage real issues as they come up. With residential rehab, it can be difficult to transition back to normal life after your stay, and this is one of the many reasons we decided to create a non-residential rehab programme.
Drug rehab
If you are seeking help and recovery from alcohol or drug addiction, then rehab could be the answer. There are some free support services available, but these do vary from area to area, and some of these are non-professional peer support options.
Drug and alcohol rehab is designed for anyone who is seeking help to stop harmful drinking or drug use. Addiction affects people in different ways, and it is a very personal decision as to when it is time to get help. You don’t need to wait until everything has fallen apart in your life to seek help. Many people we work with at Help Me Stop still have jobs or clients, families they support, and in some ways they are functioning in active addiction. However, we ask people to look at what’s going on for them on the inside, not the outside.
Ask yourself how does drinking and drug-taking make you feel – before, during and after using. Even if you are still holding down their job, meeting family commitments, and participating with life, if you feel like your health and wellbeing is suffering, please get in touch.
Alcohol rehab
We also offer alcohol rehab services for those struggling with alcohol addiction. Again, there is no one face of addiction, and there are varying degrees of how people may present when they are suffering.
Our job is to listen without judgement and give people the support and space they need to find the road to recovery.
Our alcohol treatment programme supports people intensively, to understand the nature of their addiction, and to give them the tools and skills they need to stop and stay stopped.
Help Me Stop
We run non-residential rehab programmes in London and Winchester, as well as online. We created these programmes to make alcohol and drug rehab more affordable and accessible, as residential rehab can come with a big price tag.
Our goal is to help as many people as we can find a road to abstinence-based recovery, and Help Me Stop is largely run and staffed by people who are in long term recovery from addiction themselves.
The programmes we run are designed to give you intensive therapeutic support, including all the tools and skills you need to take your recovery out into the real world. We can help you to create a new way of life that fulfils you, without the need for drugs and alcohol.
We use a mix of integrative psychotherapy, which blends a number of evidence-based therapies, including the 12 step approach to addiction treatment, person-centred therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, family therapy, art therapy, recovery workshops, mindfulness, and more. We work mainly in group sessions, and every client also has a one-to-one counselling session each week with their local counsellor.
